Micha is an economist. His fields of interest are spatial economics, economic geography, urban/regional/international economics, transport economics, international trade and microeconomics. He’s the owner of Graukaue, and works as freelance podcaster and producer. He was previously employed at Kiel University’s Institute for Environmental, Resource and Spatial Economics (formerly Institute for Regional Research) and Chairs of International and Regional Economics as well as Environmental and Energy Economics. He also received his PhD from Kiel University, for his dissertation on the wider impacts of transport infrastructure investments, after his undergraduate studies of International Economics at Kiel University and Jönköping International Business School in Sweden. Before graduating with his high-school diploma from Berufskolleg Bottrop, he spent time in the USA and in Chile as an exchange student.
